About us

None of us know exactly what the future holds.

But we can make things easier for the people we love. That single idea is the whole of When I'm Gone.

When someone dies in Ireland, the people closest to them are asked to make dozens of decisions in a matter of days — often without knowing what that person would have wanted, where anything is kept, or who to ring first.

We built When I’m Gone for the ordinary, practical side of that. Not the legal paperwork, and not the grief. Just the information: the policy numbers, the pension, the song they always said they wanted, the name of the vet, the message they never quite got around to writing.

It is designed to be calm and unhurried. You can spend ten minutes on it and stop. Nothing is final. Everything can be changed. And what you record stays yours, in a private plan that only your account can open.

Get organised once, update whenever you need. That’s the whole promise.

What we are not

We are not solicitors and this is not a legal will. When I’m Gone does not replace a formal will, an enduring power of attorney, an advance healthcare directive or any other legally recognised document. Please speak to a solicitor for those.
